No. Hail damage is a “no fault” claim, or an “Act of God”, if you will. It’s not your fault, and you can not be singled out for a rate increase. This falls under your comprehensive coverage. Unlike a collision claim, a claim for hail damage with your insurance will not affect your rates.
You generally have 30-60 days from the time of the occurrence to start a claim. Call your insurance company before time runs out, and at least get a claim number. NDR will handle the rest. It’s that simple!
